Mission
As a department that adheres to national values, produces knowledge on an international scale, primarily develops solution proposals for regional and national problems, produces projects that contribute to the improvement of quality of life, prioritizes university-industry collaboration, and trains qualified researchers; it is to train responsible food engineers who can think analytically, possess leadership and creativity qualities along with ethical values, effectively and efficiently use knowledge and technical equipment, and adopt the necessity of lifelong learning and professional development.

 

Vision
To become a strong department that, by quickly establishing qualified academic staff and a robust research infrastructure, progresses towards accreditation in food engineering education, possesses national and international competitive power, is equipped with advanced educational and research tools and equipment, has developed relations with the world of science and technology, and holds a significant position in national and international arenas.
