Mechanical Engineer

Engineers are individuals who create what did not exist before by using science and mathematics, and develop products, processes, algorithms, and systems that are solutions to human needs. Mechanical engineering, which is based on the industrial revolution of the 19th century, is one of the oldest and most rooted engineering disciplines. Mechanical engineering, which traditionally aims to improve human living conditions with mechanical components and systems using material and energy found in nature, is naturally multidisciplinary. A car design, for example, combines many fields such as physics, statics, dynamics, strength, chemistry, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, electronic control, materials, vibration, mechanical design. Professions such as nuclear, aerospace, biomedical, industrial engineering are professions that mechanical engineering has given birth to and developed.

The change brought by science and technology has driven mechanical engineering to adopt micro and nano technologies, molecular biomechanics, information technologies, energy and environmental issues. Both enriching the basic fields with these new technologies and creating awareness with current examples and applications in the process of addressing basic issues are on the agenda. Mechanical engineering, which is the oldest and widest engineering activity, initially worked more on the design of machine parts, but today it plays an important role in the development of contemporary technology in coordination with different disciplines.
