Dear Students,
As Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Engineering-Architecture Department of Landscape Architecture, we aim to train competent landscape architects who plan and design the natural and built environment in an aesthetic, functional, and sustainable manner. Our education plan is organized to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to be leaders in the field of landscape architecture, supported by practical courses and projects in addition to theoretical knowledge, and is revised in accreditation criteria when deemed necessary according to current conditions.
Landscape architecture is an interdisciplinary field that brings together aesthetic, ecological, and technical elements. In this context, we aim to combine art, science, and technology to ensure that students develop a comprehensive understanding of the profession of landscape architecture. We aim to equip our students with all the necessary skills to train them as individuals who can succeed at national and international levels.
With our young, dynamic, hardworking academic staff who have international knowledge and experience, and our collaborations, we offer our students a qualified, practical, and experience-focused educational opportunity. Our graduates work in public institutions and local governments, private landscape architecture offices, architecture and engineering firms, environmental planning and consultancy firms, etc., and achieve successful works in many fields.
