Mission and Vision

Mission
The department has adopted the mission of raising individuals who can produce ideas focused on the development of the region through local stakeholder collaborations; who can foresee the potential and problems of their environment thanks to their professional knowledge, manners, and equipment; who present outdoor spaces for human use with their creativity and enlightened identity in line with people's desires and needs, who follow innovations and can transfer these innovations to public benefit and social life in their designs and plans, who are equipped with the knowledge and skills required by the profession of landscape architecture, who are inquisitive-questioning-producing, who take responsibility and are aware of ethical values.

Vision
The vision of the department is to contribute to society with the knowledge produced and the human resources trained; to be recognized on a national and international scale with the quality of its educational activities and the originality of its research; to have a student-centered teaching approach; to take an active role in national and international organizations and events related to landscape architecture, to be aware of developing national and international academic partnerships for education and research, to respect universal values, to adopt the principles of total quality management, and to continuously develop as a department that organizes the professional program and guides education.
