Our Faculty's Mechanical Engineering Department students Burak POLAT (Team Captain), Abdullah KÖSE (Team Member-Mechanical Engineer), Sinan SATILMIŞ (Team Member), Gizem AKGÜL (Team Member) and Esra KARAGÖZ (Team Member) formed the ROBOYEM Team, and with their project "Increasing Milk Yield on Farms with Autonomous Feed Pushing Robot" in the competition organized within the scope of HAYTEKFEST Livestock Technologies R&D and Innovation Festival held by our University on March 09-11, 2023, they ranked among the top 10 projects. Our university provided the winning team with the opportunity to allocate a place in the Technopark Incubation Center for one year.

In the competition, approximately 100 projects related to technological developments and R&D studies in the field of livestock were evaluated by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, sector representatives, and expert faculty members from different universities. At the festival, which also included many companies and non-governmental organizations operating in the field of livestock technologies and R&D, our project team was presented with certificates and participation documents.
