Dr. Gültekin BASMACI, Faculty Member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Institute of Science Assoc. Dr. Ahmet UYUMAZ and Emek Technology Team Member Mechanical Engineering Department students Furkan ÜRESİN and Ahmet Gani ÖZTÜRK visited Basmacıoğlu Group/Kaan Agricultural Machinery company on May 10, 2023.

In the thank you visit held due to their support for the Electromechanical Handcart project of the EMEK team, consisting of our students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of our faculty, who participated in the "Agricultural Technologies" category at the university and above level organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2023 Technology Competitions and made it to the finals, our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Oğuz GÜRSOY thanked the company official Muammer BASMACI and the company employees for their support and valuable contributions to the Electromechanical Handcart project prepared by our faculty students under the consultancy of Faculty Member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Uyumaz.

During the visit, our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Oğuz GÜRSOY, who expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation activities established between our faculty departments and industrial organizations and emphasized the importance of practical training, presented a certificate of appreciation and a plaque of appreciation to the company official Muammer BASMACI. Muammer BASMACI, who stated that their doors are always open to our faculty members and students regarding R&D projects and other cooperation activities, expressed his satisfaction with the visit.
