Our faculty's Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department students Fadime Bayram and Fatma Çavuşoğlu were guests on TRT Antalya Radio's "Genç Yaşam" program. They explained in detail their project "Underwater Metal Collector Operating with Floating Solar Energy System," which was supervised by our faculty's Electrical-Electronics Engineering faculty member Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ahmet ÇİFCİ and was entitled to receive support from TÜBİTAK. The young engineer candidates stated that their project consists of two main parts, explaining that in the first part, they aim to place floating solar power plants on the water surface and stabilize them in the water. Thus, they emphasized that it would not be damaged by the movements of the water. In the second part, they explained that they plan to use this energy to reduce pollution caused by underwater metals and ensure recycling. The young engineer candidates stated that their project focuses on sustainable environment and renewable energy, making it more usable in the future. They also emphasized that their project contributes especially to sustainable environment and renewable energy, expressing their belief that there will be more developments in this field in the future.

The young engineer candidates, who stated that they have a one-year period to complete the project, shared that they are currently in the preparation phase of the project and have completed important steps such as literature review, material selection, and cost calculations. Additionally, Fadime and Fatma, who shared their career goals after graduation, stated that they wish to work in the field of sustainable energy. They advised students to develop themselves and gain experience by working on projects in the field they are interested in when making university choices. Emphasizing the importance of the resume (CV) in the job search process after graduation, they highlighted the importance of continuous development.
