The Department of Industrial Engineering Organized an Orientation Event for New Students

The Department of Industrial Engineering organized a tea chat at the beginning of the 2024-2025 Fall semester to meet the new students joining the department. At the event, faculty members and senior students introduced the opportunities offered by the department and ongoing projects to the new students. In this event held for the first time, faculty members provided information about the fields of work and career opportunities in Industrial Engineering and emphasized that students can gain practical experiences not only through academic knowledge but also through projects, technical trips, and conferences. It was stated that such events contribute to students' engineering education and support their professional development. Participants had the opportunity to learn about both our university and faculty while also meeting and interacting with senior students. The program concluded with well wishes between faculty members and students.
