The Industrial Engineering Community, established by the students of our faculty's Industrial Engineering Department, hosts leading figures in the field through the online career events it organizes.
The first event was held on October 9, 2024, with the participation of Mr. Sercan Akkaş, Product Group Manager of Yemeksepeti. Mr. Akkaş provided comprehensive information about the strategies and innovative solutions that maintain Yemeksepeti's leading position in the industry; he particularly emphasized the importance of digital transformation processes and user-centered design. Throughout the event, he enriched his presentation with real-life examples and success stories while offering valuable insights into current developments in the industry. Additionally, with his detailed explanations on how to tackle the challenges faced by the industry, he provided participants with important perspectives for their future careers. An interactive environment was created with the Q&A session, adding a distinct value to the event.
The second event was held on October 16, 2024, with the participation of Mr. Serdar Sönmez, Customer Service Manager of PepsiCo. Mr. Sönmez shared his deep knowledge and experience in supply chain management, logistics processes, budget planning, and customer service with the participants. His strategic approaches, especially regarding the changing logistics dynamics post-pandemic and the sustainability of customer satisfaction, made significant contributions to the participants' perspectives in these areas.
We would like to thank both institutions, especially Yemeksepeti Product Group Manager Mr. Sercan Akkaş and PepsiCo Customer Service Manager Mr. Serdar Sönmez, for their contributions to the realization of these successful events on behalf of our faculty. At the same time, we congratulate the members of the Industrial Engineering Community who contributed to the organization of these events and wish them continued success.
Our faculty will continue to support such events aimed at enhancing our students' knowledge and experience towards the professional world.
