Our Faculty Students Participate in TEKNOFEST 2023 Finals with 5 Projects

With competitions organized in many fields, TEKNOFEST 2023 Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which aims to provide motivation for young people participating in technology competitions to develop both personal and professional skills, to develop our country's national technologies, and to contribute to the engineering-based human resources, will be held in Istanbul between April 27-May 1, 2023.
5 projects prepared by the technology teams formed by our Faculty's Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering Department students under the guidance of our faculty members have qualified to represent our faculty and university in the finals of TEKNOFEST 2023, which will be held in Istanbul between April 27-May 1, 2023.
The “Autonomous Lawn Mowing Robot” project prepared by our Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department students Ahmet Erdil, Hüseyin Yıldız, Osman Özbay, and Pelin Yüksel from the Flyback Robotics team under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sertaç Görgülü in the Agricultural Technologies category,
The “Drone Exterior Insulation Analysis” project prepared by our Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department students Ahmet Erdil, Hüseyin Yıldız, Osman Özbay, and Mechanical Engineering Department Res. Asst. Mehmet Esad Nacar from the Phoenix Robotics team under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gültekin Basmacı in the Technology for the Benefit of Humanity category,
The “Electromechanical Wheelbarrow” project prepared by our Mechanical Engineering Department students Furkan Üresin, Ahmet Gani Öztürk, and Emir Bilgin from the Emek team under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uyumaz in the Agricultural Technologies category,
The “MegaDrone” project prepared by our Computer Engineering Department students Ahmet Çetinkaya, Ali Tuğrap Doğan, Aykut Öksüz, Deniz Eryılmaz, Eren Taymaz, Samet Yiğit Günay, and Yunus Emre Akkoyun from the Teke Tech team under the guidance of Dr. Lecturer Mustafa Batar in the Educational Technologies category and
The “artaKalma” project prepared by our Computer Engineering Department students Aleyna Kocaman, Medine Burunkaya, Mustafa Kaya, Neslihan Şahin, Osama Burak Elhalid, and Şenel Gül Güzel from the Teke Tech team under the guidance of Dr. Lecturer Mustafa Batar in the Technology for the Benefit of Humanity category have qualified to compete in the finals of TEKNOFEST 2023.
Congratulating all our students and advisor faculty members involved in our student technology teams that will represent our faculty and university in the finals of TEKNOFEST 2023, our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Oğuz GÜRSOY expressed his belief that our students will return from the finals with degrees.
