Our Faculty Became a Stakeholder of the Sector on Campus Program

Faculty of Engineering and Architecture became a stakeholder of the Sector on Campus Program, which was implemented under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology; established to contribute to the training of young people who will take part in the National Technology Initiative.

Faculty of Engineering-Architecture became a stakeholder of the Sector on Campus Program, which was implemented under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology; established to contribute to the training of young people who will take part in the National Technology Initiative. Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar said, “We will ensure that the trainings, in which sector experience will be directly transferred to students within the academy, will be increasingly increased in the coming period. We see the Sector on Campus Program of our Ministry of Industry and Technology as an important strategy in this context. We find the valuable work of our Ministry very appropriate. We aim to increase the weight and effectiveness of practical training with each passing period, and we plan to use and produce many various mechanisms such as the Sector on Campus program.” This program will bring together sector employees and university students in order to increase the trained human resources needed in our country, allowing university students to learn up-to-date information from professionals in the sector.

Within the scope of the Sector on Campus Program, a course on 3D Additive Manufacturing Technologies and Aviation Engines will be given in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering-Architecture, and a course on Cable Production Technologies will be given in the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering.
